Amorphous alloy transformer is a kind of high-efficiency and energy-saving power equipment. With its low no-load loss, environmental protection and energy saving, high magnetic permeability and low coercivity, it shows wide application prospects in the field of power equipment. Its characteristics are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

A notable feature of amorphous alloy transformers is their low no-load loss value. This is attributed to the good magnetic permeability of amorphous alloy materials, which makes the magnetization process more efficient, thereby reducing energy loss and showing its excellent energy-saving effect.
As a new type of energy-saving transformer, amorphous alloy transformer also performs well in environmental protection. When the amorphous alloy iron core is used in oil-immersed transformers, it can effectively reduce the emission of harmful gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and nitrogen oxides (NOx), thereby reducing environmental pollution. In areas with large power load fluctuations, such as highways, urban infrastructure and residential areas, amorphous alloy transformers have demonstrated significant energy-saving benefits.
Amorphous alloy materials have better unit iron loss than silicon steel materials, and their coercivity is only about one-seventh of that of cold-rolled oriented silicon steel sheets. Since amorphous alloy materials do not have a crystal structure, they have isotropic soft magnetic properties and exhibit physical properties of high magnetic permeability and low coercive force. These characteristics enable amorphous alloy transformers to more effectively utilize magnetic fields and reduce energy loss during power transmission.
