Vacuum interrupters form the backbone of our 3AV1 Blue portfolio. Based on more than 40 years of experience in medium-voltage range and more than 6 million delivered vacuum interrupters, Siemens Energy has introduced this proven technology to high-voltage power networks in 2010. This game-changing technology offers several advantages:
Zero CO2 or F-gas emissions
Hermetical tightness to protect from decomposition products
High switching performance without degradation
Zero maintenance (sealed for life)
Perfect for low temperatures, no liquefaction of switching mediumLow risk of breakage due to flexible sheds
The main task of a circuit breaker is to interrupt fault currents and to isolate faulted parts of the system. A circuit breaker must also be able to interrupt a wide variety of other currents at system voltage such as capacitive currents, small inductive currents, and load currents. The following is required from a circuit breaker:
• In the closed position it must be a good conductor;
• In the open position it must behave as a good isolator between system parts;
• It must be able to change from the closed to open position in a very short period of time (typically in less than 0.1 second);
• It does not cause overvoltages during switching;
• It is reliable in its operation
Custom High Voltage Breaker can be customized to fit your specific application requirements while reducing maintenance costs and improving reliability.
Highly Customizable
Gear is configured to meet any system or application need
Low Maintenance
Switches and fuses never need adjusting, programming, or dielectric testing
Resilient Design
Utility-grade design withstands time and the elements
Hassle-Free Installation
Preassembled and simpler construction requirements
Lower Total Cost of Ownership
Lower up-front and maintenance costs than metal-clad switchgear
Improved Reliability
Fuses offer faster fuse-clearing time and reduce system stress compared to circuit breakers
①10kV~40.5kV, three-phase AC 50Hz
②Long electrical life
③Small size and light weight
④Anti-condensation, maintenance-free
⑤Protection and control circuits
